Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday pinned hope that India will be among the top three countries in science and technology by the year 2030. “By 2030, India will be among the top three countries in science and technology and will be among the most attractive destination for the best talent in the world,” he said. Emphasising that science must meet the rising aspirations of people, the Prime Minister said that the scientific institutions across the nation should further strengthen their basic research in line with leading global standards. PM Modi was addressing a gathering at the 5-day-long 104th Indian Science Congress themed ‘Science and Technology for National Development.’
